This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect through this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. “I,” “me,” and “Erik” refer to Erik Bridges, a Georgia real estate licensee (License #452197) with Real Broker, LLC (GA Firm License #H-66836). Information You Provide
When you request the free homebuyer guide, I collect the information you enter in the form: your name, email address, and the county you're buying in, plus — if you choose to share them — your phone number and a short note about what's prompting your home search.
If you choose to answer the optional follow-up questions after downloading the guide, I also collect your answers about your timeline, financing status, budget range, must-haves for a home, and how you'd prefer to be contacted. These questions are entirely optional — skipping them doesn't affect your access to the guide.
When you download the guide, your name is added to its cover in your own browser. That personalized copy is created on your device; it isn't sent to me or stored anywhere.
The affordability calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter aren't sent anywhere unless you choose Email me these numbers. If you do, I collect your first name and email address along with the calculator entries (home price, loan type, down payment, interest rate, property tax, insurance, HOA dues, and any seller credit) so I can email you your results and follow up if you've agreed to be contacted.
How I Use Your Information
- To deliver the guide you requested
- To follow up with you personally by email about your home search, and by text if you've opted in to texts
- To understand, in aggregate, what first-time buyers in Metro Atlanta are looking for, so I can improve the guide and this website
- To respond to any questions you send me directly
I do not sell your information, and I never will.
Text Messages
If you provide a phone number and check the optional text-message box on the guide form, I may text you about your home search. Consent to texts isn't required to get the guide or to work with me. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help, or email me directly.
I don't share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Who I Share Information With
To run this website and follow up with you, I use a small number of outside services:
- HubSpot, the customer relationship management (CRM) system I use to keep track of my conversations with buyers and sellers. Your form submission goes directly from this website to HubSpot.
- Pushover, a notification service that sends me a private alert on my phone when you submit a form, including your name, contact details, and answers, so I can follow up promptly
- Resend, an email delivery service that sends the calculator results you request to your inbox
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides Turnstile, a bot-detection tool that confirms you're a real visitor — not spam software — before your form submission goes through
- Google Ads, if and when I turn on conversion tracking — Google only receives an anonymous signal that a conversion happened, never your name, email, or phone number
None of these services are permitted to use your information for their own purposes. I don't share your information with anyone else, and I don't sell it.
Cookies and Similar Technology
Cloudflare Turnstile may set a small amount of technical data in your browser to verify you're not a bot. If Google Ads conversion tracking is active, Google may set its own advertising cookies to measure ad performance. I don't use tracking cookies to build an advertising profile of you beyond that.
How Long I Keep Your Information
I keep your contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and, if you've agreed to be contacted, to follow up about your home search. You can ask me to delete your information at any time — see “Your Choices” below.
Your Choices
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
- Unsubscribe from email follow-ups using the link in any email, or by telling me directly
- Ask what information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing erik@erikbridges.com
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state or local law. I'll do my best to honor any request consistent with those laws — just reach out.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults researching a home purchase. I don't knowingly collect information from children, and if I learn that a minor has submitted information through this site, I'll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time as the website or the tools behind it change. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
